The US TV show "Scorpion" - based on the real-life team around Walter O'Brien - fascinated me at age 13 and was the direct trigger that got me into programming. I wanted to understand how computers and software actually work. My first "Hello World" in Python was where it all began.
I deepened my Python knowledge through online courses and started building my first Discord bots with discord.py – mostly following tutorials. At the same time, I experimented with small game projects in Unity and a Snake clone. Through a Python course, I also worked with Minecraft Agents and basic game logic.
Switching to JavaScript and Node.js opened new doors. I built more complex Discord bots with discord.js, experimented with web development and started getting interested in HTML, CSS and simple backends. Minecraft mods and plugins were also part of this phase of broad exploration.
From age 18 onward, I focused increasingly on modern web technologies. React and Next.js became my primary tools. I placed a strong emphasis on clean UI/UX design and simultaneously developed my Discord bot Astra, which is now active in over 90 servers.
Formal apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development at Leuphana University. Expected graduation in 2027. Here I combine my self-taught knowledge with structured professional training and work on real projects in a professional environment.
One year of vocational school focused on electrical engineering and system integration. First structured exposure to C++ and electronics fundamentals. This period significantly sharpened my overall technical understanding – from circuits to low-level programming.
As part of my apprenticeship at BBS1, I'm working with a team on a Souls-like game in the Godot Engine with C++ extensions. The project builds skills in teamwork, architecture decisions and working with a new technology under real project conditions.
